1940s Experience News
*Update* - 02/10/2015 - Details for the Eighth in the East events can now be found on our next events page
Thankyou to everyone that came to our September Open Day. It was nice to have such a warm day at this time of year!
Those that came will have seen that we had a display set up next to the NAAFI Cafe by some members from the Panzer-Pionier Großdeutschland living history group (who are based from our site). More of the group will be joining us for our open days on Sunday 25th October and Sunday 29th November.
In October, we are also going to be visited by the Eighth in the East heritage group. They are putting the finishing touches on a full itinerary of events for the weekend of 23rd - 25th October. Once the itinerary has been released, we will include it on our next events page. For more information about the work of Eighth in the East you can visit their website, like them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.
Christmas will be coming early to the 1940s Experience! We will be holding our annual 1940s Christmas House event on Sunday 29th November and Sunday 6th December. As we get nearer to the Christmas House open days, you will be able to find details of any Christmas events that will be taking place on our next events page.
So we're set for a busy set of open days to finish off the year.
Until next time.
