1940s Experience News
Thankyou to everybody that came to our October open day. We now only have two open days remaining for this year: Sunday 30th November 2014 and Sunday 7th December 2014. On these days we will have our decorations up for our 1940s Christmas House. There will also be some activities going on for our Christmas House open days. On Sunday 30th November there will be a drop-in 1940s Christmas decoration making workshop in our village schoolroom. On Sunday 7th December we will be raffling off a homemade gingerbread house in the NAAFI Cafe and selling "lucky bags" in the entrance foyer.
You may have noticed a couple of changes to our home page. I have removed the four links at the top of the page. These were basically the same as the links on the right hand side of the page and were put there to help transition to a new look for the home page. The plans for a new homepage have been shelved for now while other designs will be looked at. As a result of this, and following some recent feedback, I have moved the prices above the news so that it is easier for people to see. I have also removed the image listing the 2014 dates as there are only two left and they are listed above in this news piece. A new image for the 2015 dates will be put up after our December open day.
That's all for now. Just a reminder that our next open day is on Sunday 30th November 2014. Until next time.
